Welcome To Our Store

Welcome to the Easy Built Models website. We invite you to browse our 166 different balsa model airplane kits – free flight rubber power, electric rc, gas powered, gliders, jets, and display models. With wingspans from 12″ to 72″, they cover the first 50 or so years of flight, from pioneers like the Wright brothers to the planes of World War I, World War II and beyond.

Every kit you see here is manufactured by us. We make printed wood kits on our 1903 printing press and laser cut kits with our 2 precision cutting lasers. We wish to extend our thanks to all the builders who have shared their photos and building tips shown on this website. Your work is an inspiration to model builders everywhere.

Bob

Thank you much. Love dealing with E B M.

Dennis

UPS just delivered my Magna-Board. Thanks for your help in making that happen without a hitch. I’m just returning to Free Flight after decades away and I’ll be a steady customer going forward.

Michael

I want you to know something that possibly nobody ever related: I use building your challenging planes as therapy for dealing with my wife and Parkinson’s and now our dog with health problems

Ralph

Thank you so much for your reply. You folks are a really class act. I am glad to do business with you-all, as they say in Tuscaloosa where I grew up.

Jim

I wanted to thank you and your company for sharing your building process on your kits. I’ve been struggling with building my air plane's and nearly have given up on returning to the hobby. The tip on wetting the balsa strips I found when building the fuselage was extremely helpful and solved the issue I had been having with my building. Thank you so much on sharing these photos and tips.

A quick thank you from a repeat customer! Just received my latest order, as usual it was exactly what I ordered, a very complete high quality kit and arrived ahead of schedule. Your level of service is a rarity and very much appreciated. I don’t often have a reason to write this type of letter, but in your case, it is a pleasure! Cheers,

Jeff

Just got my order, thank you and your crew for such fast service! I appreciate you taking time to straighten out my mess, I’ll spend more time looking at my order from now on. Getting old, I don’t catch things as quickly anymore. Hope you all have a wonderful week.
