During World War II, at a time when planes were desperately needed by the British, the Hurricane fit the requirement for an effective fighter that could be manufactured and put into service quickly. During the Battle of Britain, the Hurricane was responsible for over 60‰ of the RAF air victories. Variants include fighter-bombers known as Hurribombers, Sea Hurricanes, and catapult-launched convoy escorts known as Hurricats.

This kit is a 1:13 scale flying model. Pre-1942 design, eligible for Society of Antique Modelers (SAM) contests.

This free flight rubber powered kit contains a full-size rolled plan, hand-picked printed balsa and balsa strip wood, rubber motor, 12" EB propeller, EBM thrust bearing, clear plastic for the windshield, wheels, wire, TissueCal™ markings, and Easy Built Lite tissue in brown, light grey and evergreen. To build this model you will need a building board, hobby knife, fine sandpaper, and glue.
