Self-taught aircraft designer and builder, Benny Howard built the D-G-A (Damned Good Airplane) racing airplanes from 1924-43. His planes set records for speed, smallest aircraft and inverted flying. The DGA-9 was produced in 1937.
This kit is a 1:30 scale flying model. Pre-1942 design, eligible for Flying Aces Club Dime Scale and Society of Antique Modelers (SAM) contests.
This free flight rubber powered kit contains a full-size rolled plan, laser cut balsa parts and hand-picked balsa stripwood, rubber motor, E-B propeller, EBM thrust bearing, clear plastic for the windshield, wheels, landing gear wire, and Easy Built Lite orange tissue. To build this model you will need a building board, hobby knife, fine sandpaper, and glue.
