CUSTOMER BUILDS & INFO
"Here is my recently completed Commando. It is powered by a Bantam .19. The covering is Polyspan with Japanese tissue trim. The color scheme is the same as the original Model Craft Canada box art from the 1941 kit." - Dan Rhinehart
"Attached are 3 photos of my Easy Built Commando. This model was completed and first flown summer of 2009. It is a very fine flyer. My wife loves to fly it because it is so predictable, and slow. It is converted to 3 channel (mini) RC with electric power. It uses a brushed ball bearing 370 motor geared 5.1 with a 10x4 prop and 3 cell 1300 mah Lipo battery. Covering is Ultracote. I think my next Easy Built will be the Super Soarer." - Jim Carter
"The model is fitted with an old English Mills 1.3 ccm (produced in 1949) in very good condition. The controller is Multiplex. Commando had its maiden flight yesterday. It has very good climbing and its gliding characteristic is superb. It was built over the long winter and will be used for Texaco competitions." - Zdenek Slapnicka, Czech Republic
"This is your model Commando with a little modification. The wing is 5" longer, and is now poly dihedral and nose is 1 1/2" longer. It is powered with a Paw .049 diesel, 3 channel r/c." - Henry Forbes
"The diesel engine is ENYA06. Prop 7 × 4 inches. Enjoy a very good flight." - Yauo Aizawa, Tokyo Japan
