The Auster was designed at the end of the 1930s for observation patrols in Great Britain. Today, we're bringing back this popular aircraft in a new release of the vintage Modelcraft design, a wonderful lightweight flyer.
This kit is a 1:18 scale flying model with updated plans. featuring a removable nose block and window patterns. Plan also includes original step-by-step isometric drawings to guide construction. Pre-1942 design is eligible for Golden Age Civil, Old Time Kit Scale, Society of Antique Modelers (SAM) and Scale contests.
This free flight rubber powered kit contains a full-size rolled plan, printed balsa and hand-picked balsa stripwood, rubber motor, E-B propeller, EBM thrust bearing, wire, wheels, Easy Built Lite tissue in olive green and desert tan, clear plastic for the windshield (includes a template for cutting), and TissueCal™ markings. To build this model you will need a building board, hobby knife, fine sandpaper, and glue.
