The Phantom or Model 1 was the first aircraft built by the American company Luscombe Aircraft Engineering Company of Kansas City, Missouri. It first flew in 1934. It was a high-wing braced monoplane with conventional fixed tail-wheel landing gear.
This kit is a 1:25 scale flying model designed by Donald Luscombe. Pre-1942 design, eligible for Dime Scale and Society of Antique Modelers (SAM) contests.
This free flight rubber powered kit contains a full-size rolled plan, printed balsa and hand-picked balsa stripwood, rubber motor, E-B propeller, EBM thrust bearing, clear plastic for the windshield, landing gear wire, and Easy Built Lite tissue in red or creme. To build this model you will need a building board, hobby knife, fine sandpaper, and glue.
