The Mohawk was built at Woodley in 1936 to Col. Charles Lindbergh’s specifications. It was used by Lindbergh and his wife for inter-capital travel throughout Europe in 1937, registration # G-AEKW. Currently located in the United Kingdom at the RAF Museum which plans to restore the aircraft. A second airframe of the M.12 was begun but never completed.
This kit is a 1:35 scale flying model. Pre-1942 design, eligible for Flying Aces Club Dime Scale and Society of Antique Modelers (SAM) contests.
This free flight rubber powered kit contains a full-size rolled plan, hand picked printed balsa and balsa stripwood, rubber motor, E-B propeller, EBM thrust bearing, clear plastic for the windshield, wheels, landing gear wire, and Easy Built Lite tissue in black and orange. To build this model you will need a building board, hobby knife, fine sandpaper, and glue.
