The Spitfire is the most famous British aircraft of the WWII era. Conceived as an interceptor, it had high speed, heavy armament, high rate of climb and the agility to make repeated attacks, as well as to fight off escorting aircraft. Its characteristic elliptical wing shape, thinner than any other fighter of the day, coupled with an innovative aerodynamic ducted radiator produced extra power worth 70 hp at 300 mph. If you love the Spitfire but want to spend more time flying than building, we recommend this laser cut version. It goes together fast and is easy to trim out and start flying.

This free flight rubber powered kit contains a full-size rolled plan, laser cut balsa parts and hand-picked balsa strip wood, rubber motor, E-B propeller, EBM thrust bearing, wheels, vacuum-molded canopy, radiators and spinner, TissueCalâ„¢ markings, and Easy Built Lite tissue in light sky blue, desert tan, and evergreen. To build this model you will need a building board, hobby knife, fine sandpaper, and glue.
