The VELIVOLE is a half size Wakefield canard pusher.
Based on the 1936 Wakefield design of A. Watteyne from Brussels, Belgium. The lines of this endurance model airplane are beautiful. Designed in the spirit of Jules Verne, we encourage you to let your imagination determine the finishing details you bring to this aircraft. The plan includes options for removable wings and landing gear.
This Free Flight Rubber Powered kit includes a full-size rolled CAD drawn plan, laser cut balsa parts, hand-picked balsa sheet wood and strip wood, aircraft plywood, aluminum tubing, E-B propeller, EBM thrust bearing, FAI rubber motor, clear plastic, wheels, wire, Easy Built Lite yellow tissue, and silver LaserCal™ markings. To build this model you will need a building board, hobby knife, fine sandpaper, and glue. To recreate the original landing gear as shown you will need wire cutters, needle nose pliers, 3/64" drill bit, and depending on your assembly, maybe a soldering iron.
